Rolly is the author of a 7 book series known as Quiet Reflections, chronicling the adventurous years he spent in the wilderness of the Yukon Territory in Canada where numerous people changed his life and he went through his own personal healing and transformation which brought him towards Christ. He has since moved into the Christian Fiction genre and written three new full length novels entitled, White Death, Smoothwolf, and The Annual Fear. He also completed a sequel to Smoothwolf as well as a two book series called Checkers Corner. All of Mr. Chabot's books are available through Amazon.com.

Mr. Chabot is also an incredibly talented woodcarver with 35 years of experience in the craft. He started carving while he was in the Yukon and it has carried over to be a lifetime pastime which demonstrated his love for nature and the wood she provides. Rolly feels that it is a true blessing to see a shape begin to take form in the wood. He is an avid outdoorsman who greatly enjoys fly fishing and photography.

In addition, Rolly also serves as a Pastor, performing Bible Studies as well as volunteer work in the local community. During his collegiate career, he earned a degree in Turf Management and Plant Sciences from Olds College. He also studied Golf Course Design and Construction, Plant Pathology, Horticulture and Arboriculture. Rolly has had involvement with the Canadian Golf Course Superintendents Association, Alberta Golf Course Superintendents Association, Landscape Alberta Nursery Trade Association, Canadian Turf and Horticultural Association, and the Peace Country Golf Superintendents Association.
