Ms. Talley made the decision to be an artist after being inspired by the beauty of the valleys of Colorado at a young age. Captivated by the magnificence and splendor of places such as Mt. Blanca, the Sangre de Cristo Range, and the Rocky Mountains, she began working towards a career as a professional artist. Ms. Talley, who possesses more than four decades of overall professional experience, specializes in painting portraits and realism art pieces depicting architecture such as windmills in Holland. She works primarily with oils, acrylics, pastels, and pencil. For the past 11 years, Ms. Talley has marketing her unique artwork through her business, Creative Arts By Pat.

In recognition of her success, Ms. Talley was named a VIP of the Year by Cambridge Who's Who in 2011 and 2010. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional goals. Ms. Talley credits her accomplishments to her passion to her craft. In addition to attending Adams State College, she studied advanced artwork in Monte Vista, Colo. and pastels at the University of Kansas. Looking toward the future, Ms. Talley plans to improve her techniques and paint with other well-known artists.
