DirectRooms.com reports that Galway is going to be featuring some of the literary world's best selling authors as it hosts Ireland's foremost festival for literature.

PHUKET, THAILAND, March 11, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Over six days between 12th and 17th April 2011, Cuirt International Festival of Literature will be welcoming a host of current domestic talent along with number one selling authors from around the world. The festival is set to gather close to sixty authors, consisting of the cream of Ireland's up and coming writers as well as many well-established names.

The programme of events will feature recitals and signings where fans can meet with authors and attend discussion panels to ask questions about areas of each book. The festival covers all types of literature including fiction and non-fiction titles as well as poetry and there'll be displays of art from local artists. Following the saying of a picture paints a thousand words, film screenings are also due to take place and visitors can attend theatre productions as a complement to all areas of artistic work.

In 2010 the festival featured literary greats such as crime thriller and number one selling author, Ian Rankin and the acclaimed short story author James Lasdun who has picked up a number of awards in the US. The show always manages to attract a variety of writers and this is sure to be no different in 2011 leading to fans descending on Galway in the thousands and this makes a hotel in Galway hard to come by.
