Maryly Snow to Be Profiled in Exclusive Registry
Maryly Snow's artwork is represented by three galleries
OAKLAND, CA, September 20, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Maryly Snow, Artist, Owner of Snow Studios, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in art management.
Maryly Snow established Snow Studios 35 years ago, where she has specialized in printmaking. She attends shows, sells artwork online and exhibits artwork in galleries. The studio produces original prints, collages, photography, and paintings. Concurrent with Snow Studios, she served as the visual resources librarian for the College of Environmental Design at the University of California, Berkeley, from 1976 through 2006. There, she developed SPIRO, the first image database on the Internet in early 1994. She is also the founder and proprietor of The International Toothbrush Collection. Founded in 1981, the organization was started as an art project and has since expanded to include over 2,500 toothbrushes from all over the world.
Ms. Snow received her Master of Librarianship from the University of California, Berkeley. She is a board member of the California Society of Printmakers, and is an artist in residence at Kala Art Institute in Berkeley. Her artwork has been exhibited in the Bay Area Visual Arts Network in Oakland, the Kala Art Institute and the SFMOMA Artists Gallery. She attributes her success to her durability, and artistic and organizational skills. In the future, she intends to further develop the business.
