Francesca A. Veglia-Dansky Named to Exclusive Membership Organization

SARASOTA, FL, August 09, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Francesca A. Veglia-Dansky, Music Specialist for Sarasota County Public Schools, and Opera Singer at Studio 2000, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in music.
With 18 years of professional experience, Ms. Veglia-Dansky attributes her success to the support she received from her teachers, mentors and friends. At her current posts, she is responsible for working with elementary students, teaching music lessons and general skills to choral groups, and conducting piano, speech for theater and professional singing classes.
Ms. Veglia-Dansky currently performs with Gloria Musicae, a professional chorale group and with AMICCO. She previously sang with the Symphony Orchestra in Milwaukee. A member of Sigma Alpha Iota, she is affiliated with the Florida Music Education Association, the Florida Alliance for Arts Education, and the Music Educators National Conference.
In 1992, Ms. Veglia-Dansky earned her Master's Degree in Vocal Performance, from the Manhattan School of Music. She holds a certification in music and theater education, and came in Third Place at The Metropolitan Opera Competition in Wisconsin.
