Barbara J. Ervin to Be Profiled in Exclusive Registry
Barbara J. Ervin celebrates 28 years as an art teacher for Indianapolis Public Schools
INDIANAPOLIS, IN, August 17, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Barbara J. Ervin, Art Teacher for Indianapolis Public Schools, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in art instruction.
With 28 years of experience as an art teacher for Indianapolis Public Schools, Barbara J. Ervin is responsible for teaching music to kindergarten through sixth-grade students. In addition, since 2007 she has taught Introduction to Watercolors and Drawing at Martin University in Indianapolis, Indiana. She became involved in her profession because she was inspired by her mother and sister, who were elementary school teachers, and she attributes her success to her ability to share her artistic knowledge with students.
Ms. Ervin received her Master of Arts in Education from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in 1980 and her Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts from The Florida State University in 1975.
