Cambridge Who's Who Features Lucrecia E. Wright in Professional Registry
Lucrecia E. Wright is the legal representative for professional artist Katty Espinosa
ANTON, TX, June 4, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lucrecia E. Wright, retired Lawyer and current Legal Representative for Fabulous Art, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of legal advisement services.
Now formally retired from her legal career, Lucrecia E. Wright still maintains involvement in the industry, albeit in a different way. A native of Colombia, she worked for many years as a legal assistant to the Secretary of Education. The position required that she create new statutes, which assisted educators to receive promotions and advance in their careers. Ms. Wright also worked alongside the mayor of Bogota, D.C., the capital city of Colombia, to render administrative legal council. Finally, she held the position of General Secretary of the Bogota-Miami Sister Cities Program—an experience that afforded her the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Currently residing in Texas, Ms. Wright lends her legal talents to Fabulous Art and the Colombian artist, Katty Espinosa. Especially talented utilizing oil and watercolors, Katty creates original signed prints, the subjects of which focus on flowers and baskets. Her works, with their muted tones and hues, have been exhibited throughout Colombia, Germany, Spain and Japan. Katty is the first Latin American artist with a permanent exhibition in the State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia. Her pieces are also owned by private collectors in Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Ecuador, Venezuela, Argentina and the United States. As the legal advisor to Katty, Ms. Wright has recognized that her artistic reach has not yet peaked in the States. She is currently in the midst of promoting Katty's art for private sale among American collectors.
Aside from her efforts with Katty Espinosa and Fabulous Art, Ms. Wright is an inspired and talented poet. Her work, "Wind in the Night Sky" was recognized by the National Library of Poetry. In fact, a few of her poems were endorsed and published by the organization. The focus of Ms. Wright's poetry is primarily political and, as such, may be viewed as controversial. She is more than happy to "stir the pot," however, and looks forward to having a book of her poems published in the near future.
Ms. Wright holds a master's degree in law and completed coursework in paralegal studies. She served for three years on the board of directors of the Migrant and Indian Coalition and is currently affiliated with the Texas CattleWomen, the Texas Federation of Republican Women and The Red Hat Society, Inc.
