Nancy Whitfill Honored for Accomplishments in Fine Art
Nancy Whitfill has completed numerous commissions in Pennsylvania, Washington, DC, Florida, Texas, New Mexico and Arizona
FAIRFAX, VA, May 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nancy Whitfill, Artist for Wallusions, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in painting.
After September 11, 2001, Ms. Whitfill began using painting as a method of relaxation, leading her to discover her artistic talent and passions. At Wallusions, she captures images in realistic and photorealistic styles, painting with acrylics on canvas. Prior to her current position, Ms. Whitfill served in the United States Air Force for 24 years. She attributes her success to her attention to detail and use of vivid color.
Ms. Whitfill is the recipient of a Dual Master's Degree in Aviation. She is a member of the Art League at the Torpedo Factory, the Fairfax Art League, and the Arts Council of Fairfax County. She volunteers her free time to the Fairfax Art League. Ms. Whitfill has completed numerous commissions in Pennsylvania, Washington, DC, Florida, Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. In the future, she hopes to become a member of The International Guild of Realism.
