Mary Hopkins Quirarte celebrates 40 years as the Creative Director and Owner of Design HQ

DALLAS, TX, May 21, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mary Hopkins Quirarte, Creative Director and Owner of Design HQ, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in artistic design.

With 40 years of experience as the Creative Director and Owner of Design HQ, Mary Hopkins Quirarte is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations including all graphic design projects and administration, as well as managing the budgeting and vendor selection. Ms. Quirarte has worked in design and advertising for 30 years at both large and small agencies. In addition, she has served as an in-house art director, chief illustrator and has painted portraits with Richard Bunkall at the Art Center College of Design and attended numerous drawing classes at the Chouinard Foundation in South Pasadena with Michael Wingo and Diana Vitale. She has also been able to share her knowledge in the higher education setting and has taught an extensive array of graphic design classes at Brooks College in Long Beach California. Throughout her career she has had an impressive client list that inlcuded Ifiniti, Nissan, Isuzu, Ramada Renaissance Hotel, Kids Mart and Dams & Moore, Inc. She attributes her success to her hard work and passion for her profession.

Ms. Quirarte received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Corporate Communications and Fashion Illustration from the University of Texas, Arlington. She is a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts.
