Katherine Norris Fine Art is a private gallery situated in the heart of the Newport Beach Mariners Mile district. The gallery offers one of the most extensive, prestigious inventories of nineteenth and early twentieth century American and California paintings. The works of these celebrated artists include American genre scenes, portraiture and the unique American landscape on canvases of stunning vistas, luminous seascapes, autumnal woodlands, forest interiors, and radiant cityscapes.

Katherine started out as a passionate collector of American art. Having been a collector herself, she emphasizes the need for competent and diligent service to new and experienced, private and institutional collectors. As the gallery is sensitive to value, they work hard to price paintings at reasonable levels. They frequently accept paintings back in trade to enable clients to improve and upgrade their collection.

Katherine has exceptional expertise with early American and California paintings as well as incredible knowledge in the valuation of other paintings to buy from artists and sell. She owns all of the paintings in her gallery.

During her educational career, Katherine earned a Bachelor's Degree Obtained in Journalism from San Diego State University. She spent 25 years running a title insurance business prior to opening her gallery. Katherine is a member of the California Art Club and serves on the Board of Directors for the Historic Collections Council.
