Christopher C. Gillam Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Christopher C. Gillam celebrates nearly 30 years as an artist
OAK PARK, MI, April 14, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Christopher C. Gillam, Senior Printer for Southeast Michigan Council of Governments, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in fine arts.
With 29 years of professional experience, Mr. Gillam specializes in oil painting and bronze sculptures. He manages all end house printing of brochures, letters and graphics, and operates the mail room. Southeast Michigan Council of Governments is a membership organization of local governments that provides information, workshops and seminars for government officials.
Mr. Gillam completed coursework at Mercy College. He has attained an award from The American Legion, a Rackham Forensics Award and a Semstar Award. He has always had an interest in arts, and he attributes his success to his determination, focus, goal-oriented nature, discipline and his mother's inspiration, as she was a teacher who instilled a great work ethic in him. In the future, he intends to fulfill his goal of creating a monument, which he became inspired to do after traveling to Italy.
