Mr. Ramundo parlays 30 years of business acumen into his leadership position with Nick the Cat, LLC

HUNTINGTON WOODS, MI, December 30, 2010, Keith D. Ramundo, Founder and CEO of Nick the Cat, LLC and Ramundo and Associates, LLC, has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Entrepreneur of the Year in Publishing & Production. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.

A seasoned business professional with the heart of an entrepreneur, Keith D. Ramundo has enjoyed a career that has stretched across a variety of industries. He has more than 20 years' experience in senior financial management and global business leadership, with a focus on business growth, operational efficiencies and organizational effectiveness. The majority of his senior management and leadership experience was in the automotive industry; Ford Motor Company where he held leadership positions in both finance and operational management and with Visteon Corporation, a $20 billion manufacturing operations offshoot of Ford where as revenue director, he was responsible for a $15 billion annual budget, with monthly receivable balances exceeding $1 billion and as North American purchasing controller, responsible for Visteon's annual buy of $11 billion. Following his tenure with Ford and Visteon, Mr. Ramundo served as the executive vice president and CFO for a billion dollar Cerberus Capital Management portfolio company, where he rebuilt the finance department to lead the restoration of the firm's profitability and overall stability.

As impressive as his corporate career was on paper, Mr. Ramundo nevertheless harbored the desire to reinvent himself. It was this desire that prompted him to establish both Nick the Cat, LLC and Ramundo and Associates, LLC two years ago. Working with author Linda Sicks in developing the "Nick the Wise Old Cat" concept and series, and award-winning illustrator Dave Messing, Mr. Ramundo founded his publishing venture. In his position as CEO, he expertly manages and directs a publishing team and screens potential budding authors and associated projects. He recommends all projects for staff consideration and "buy-in" and handles/directs, with author and staff input and support, all aspects of a selected book project from concept to distribution, including book layout and design, illustrating, manuscript editing, printing, marketing and distribution services. Managing no more than three hand-selected authors annually, Mr. Ramundo and his team are able to offer clients the most comprehensive and custom publishing services available, complete with website design and development, as well as the production of book accompaniments such as plush character toys, audio book CDs, animated DVDs, e-Book downloads, and giclee prints and framing of storybook characters.

Mr. Ramundo holds an MBA from Wake Forest University and a bachelor's degree in finance and accounting from Mount St. Mary's University.

In addition to his most recent honor from Cambridge Publishing, he was presented with five Gold Mom's Choice Book Awards in 2010 for the first five books in the Nick the Wise Old Cat series; "The Importance of Family" series (for three books, audio book and animated DVD), and the associated companion book titled, "Nick's Holiday Celebration" and book one in "The Importance of Friendship" series titled, "How Different is Good." Mr. Ramundo maintains affiliation with the Association of Management Professionals and the Independent Book Publishers Association.
