AUSTIN, TX, December 10, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Rebecca Stone, Principal of Medici Galleries Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in business management.

The principal of Medici Galleries Inc., Dr. Stone attributes her success to her being able to think outside of the box. Her day-to-day responsibilities include campaigning, researching, buying old catalogs, meeting with people in New York and Zurich who are knowledgeable on art, and lining up artists for the website. She specializes in Picasso, Grigoriy Mikhailovich Shegal, Marc Chagall, Salvador Dalí and Russian arts.

With a background in domestic and international business, Dr. Stone has collected art for many years throughout the world. She studied the finest art throughout North America, South America and Europe. A member of the Dali Association, the Shegal Association, Art Alliance Austin and the Austin Film Festival, she is affiliated with Kunsthaus Zürich, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Austin Museum of Art.

Dr. Stone earned a MD in alternative medicine in India, a MBA in finance and a master's degree in Chinese medicine. Additionally, she completed post-graduate coursework in petroleum engineering, marketing, and in a Doctor of Naturopathy Program, as well as earned an undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin.
