Fans of graffiti art may like to visit Prague's Metropolis exhibition before it closes next month.

PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC, November 23, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Prague visitors have until December 31st to see Metropolis at the DOX Centre for Contemporary Art.

This acclaimed exhibition of street art and graffiti recently returned to the Czech capital following a successful run at the Expo 2010 in Shanghai.

Opening in October, it has been adapted slightly to suit the DOX Centre space and showcases the work of six leading Czech street artists - Masker, Pasta, Tron, Skarf, Cryptic 257 and Point.

The display has been carefully designed to resemble the urban environment in which the pieces on show are usually seen.

People attending the exhibition from Prague hotels will discover installations based on an urban landscape of Metro stations, concrete bridges and apartment blocks.

According to the organisers, Metropolis "plays with dimensions, reality and dream".

Entrance to the gallery is priced at 180 Czech koruna (GBP6.20) for adults and 90 Czech koruna for children and senior citizens.

The DOX Centre is open from 10:00 to 18:00 local time on Mondays and closed on Tuesdays. Wednesday to Friday opening hours are 11:00 to 19:00, while people can visit between 10:00 and 18:00 on Saturdays and Sundays.
