VICTORIA, BC, CANADA, November 24, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jim D. Zinger, Ethereal Artist, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Fine Arts. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only two male and two female members in each discipline are named professionals of the year. The Cambridge Who's Who selection committee chooses these special honorees based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements and leadership abilities.
With a professional tenure of more than 40 years, Mr. Zinger is considered an expert in media applications, freelance commercial illustration and design creation. Likewise, his original oil artwork has been selected for inclusion in prestigious private and open shows worldwide, from New Orleans to Manhattan, Beverly Hills, Hawaii, Fiji, Australia and coast-to-coast in Canada. His artwork acts as an inspiration to others through their evocative themes of the human condition and environmental ambiance.
Having served in the armed forces and worked for the United Auto Workers Union for many years, Mr. Zinger has gathered a unique perspective that he portrays in his artwork. His success is a derivative of his discipline and dedication - by fulfilling his lifelong passion for art, he has retained recognition as a certified professional artist and member of Le Front des Artistes Canadiens. As an altruistic individual, Mr. Zinger volunteers with the local elderly home, various youth groups, the American Red Cross and United Way of America. He cites his involvement with the Canadian National Institute for the Blind as an appreciated endeavor that he is proud to have experienced.
As an artist, the ideas he gathers in his free time overlaps with his professional vision. Whether he is traveling, spending time on his ranch, caring for his horses, spending time at the beach or car racing, Mr. Zinger is always conjuring up his next project. In the coming years, he intends to promote his art globally, and pursue a secondary career in teaching. For more information about Mr. Zinger, please visit http://www.jimzinger.ca.
