Barbara "Ms. B" Goodenough Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
Barbara "Ms. B" Goodenough hosts the show "Ms. B Reads to Me"

NEWTON UPPER FALLS, MA, November 24, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Barbara 'Ms. B' Goodenough, Producer, Actor, Reader, and Independent Childhood Education Teacher, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in producing, acting and reading aloud on a public television show for children.

Ms. Goodenough hosts, "Ms. B Reads to Me," on NewTV in Newton, MA. She also has 16 years of experience tutoring elementary school students and making audio recordings of books for visually impaired individuals. In addition, she has participated in community theater groups, produced talent shows and plays, and designed theatrical sets for a variety of school productions. Ms. Goodenough established two businesses of her own, Tommy's Toys and Mortgage Placement Service. She also taught oil painting and life drawing classes through an art school she established. She became involved in her profession after taking a proactive interest in teaching her own children, who had learning problems in their younger years and grew up to become successful in college and their careers.

Ms. Goodenough holds certificates in Fine Arts and Art History. She also completed coursework in Philosophy and Psychology at Syracuse University, and coursework in Child Psychology and Comparative Religion at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. In recognition of her accomplishments, Ms. Goodenough has received various awards for her pastels. She is also a 10-time recipient of NewTV achievement awards, a 3-time recipient of scholastic art awards, and an 8-time recipient of the first place doll maker award at the state fair. The City of Newton, MA recognized her with the Unsung Hero Award, and the Newton School Foundation and Newton School Volunteers honored her with certificates of appreciation.
