Carrie R. Cardwell Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
Carrie Cardwell celebrates 25 years as an Expressive Arts therapist
Toronto, ON, Canada, October 15, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Carrie Cardwell, M.A., A.T.R., Expressive Arts therapist, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in the Expressive Arts therapies, specializing in deafness and mental health.
With 25 years of experience as an Expressive Arts therapist, Carrie Cardwell helps clients better understand the impact of trauma within the context of their lives. She works with individuals, couples and families, helping to accomplish deeper change with art therapy and psychodrama to reach new insights and actions. She works privately and in a mental health program for deaf and hard of hearing children and their families with complex situations. She attributes her success to dedication and passion. She became involved in her profession after a mentor suggested art therapy as a career path, and coincidentally began learning American sign language.
Ms. Cardwell received a Master's Degree in Expressive Arts Therapy from Lesley College Graduate School in 1985. She is registered with the American Art Therapy Association, and an OACCPP member.
