Mad Clout Joins The Wild Style 2010 Reunion in Baltimore
"I Can't Live Without My Boom Box" graffiti art exhibit to be displayed at the 27th anniversary of the film "Wild Style."

ATLANTA, GA, May 16, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mad Clout, a coalition dedicated to the preservation and longevity of the hip hop culture, has announced their involvement with 'The Wild Style 2010 Reunion.' The anniversary event commemorates 'Wild Style,' the first hip hop film ever made, and will take place at The Load of Fun on May 29-20, 2010 in Baltimore, Maryland. Mad Clout's 'I Can't Live Without My Boom Box,' vintage and graffiti-adorned radio art show, will be featured along with live performances, break dancing, graffiti painting, a film screening, and appearances from 'Wild Style' cast members. Noteworthy individuals who are scheduled to appear include Wild Style writer, director, and producer Charlie Ahearn, Cold Crush Brothers, Cheif Rocker Busy Bee, Grand Wizard DJ Theodore, and the b-boys of the Rocksteady Crew, as well as graffiti artists: Bronx graffiti legend Cope2 and Indie.

'I Can't Live Without My Boom Box' collectively exhibits over 100 vintage and uniquely painted radios embellished by graffiti artists from all over the United States. The 7 year-old assemblage of boom boxes pays homage to the influence of hip hop music from the 1980's by focusing on the device that served to propagate it. 'I Can't Live Without My Boom Box' successfully forged a home at The Relapse Theater in Atlanta, Georgia and is currently on tour with Gentleman Jack's Art, Beats + Lyrics show.
