Visitors to Melbourne can view the works of some of the city's most promising young designers at the Melbourne Museum until June.

MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA, May 12, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Melbourne Museum is hosting an exhibition that lets visitors check out the best of the city's young design talent in one place.

Running until June 27th, the Top Designs 2010 display consists of works by students in the areas of media, design and technology, food and technology, systems engineering, multimedia and visual communication and design.

It includes the final product created by each student, as well as plans, scripts, storyboards briefs and other documents that show how it developed from being just an idea to the finished design.

Visitors booking into hotels in Melbourne will also be able to see another exhibition featuring current work from those who have showcased their creations at past Top Designs displays as the initiative celebrates its tenth year at the museum.

The Melbourne Museum is hosting a number of other exhibitions that may be of interest to tourists, including one displaying some of the iconic Paragon shoes made in the city.
