Jeweler Claire Larrabee specializes in wirework and metal techniques in silver, gold and copper. "I love the freedom of wire as it allows me to create so many unusual designs. Pieces evolve organically as the metal and wire guide the final design. It's intriguing to have a design in mind and then have it evolve naturally as I complete the work," said Larrabee.

One of the key influences in Seafire Design's work is the ocean. As a scuba diver, Larrabee is fascinated by the strange and beautiful creatures that inhabit the depths. Using found objects, such as shells, corals and stones, she works to interpret and share a little bit of the mystical ocean world in her designs. Her Fantasea Cuff line evokes the many hues, textures and shapes of coral.
