Rebecca Walters recognized as an authority in Latin American and Mexican art


LEBANON, NJ, July 2, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rebecca Walters, Owner of Fine Art and Design LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of fine art.

Inspired by her aunt, a sculptor, and her grandmother, a gifted storyteller, Ms. Walters decided to build her own career in the arts. She has 19 years of professional experience in the business and is now recognized as an authority on Latin American and Mexican art. In 2007, she established Fine Art and Design, a firm that offers fine art, artist representation and interior design services. As the owner, Ms. Walters discovers and promotes emerging artists, finds suitable spaces in which they can exhibit their work, raises funds, and sells pieces to designers, art consultants, architects and galleries. She is proud to represent an intimate but versatile and talented pool of artists and attributes her success to her people management skills and ability to market artists effectively. She aspires to open a retail store and expand the market reach of her clients.

Ms. Walters attended the Savannah College of Art and Design and completed training in fine arts in Mexico, where she lived for many years. She is a member of the Alumni Association of the Savannah College of Art and Design and the Forte Foundation. Her favorite charities include Dreams Come True Therapeutic Riding, the American Red Cross, the Gathered to Give Foundation and her local church, where she sits as chairwoman for the arts.
